Day 0: Arusha
Arrival in Tanzania, Kilimanjaro International Airport/Arusha Airport, meet and greet with Restoration’s driver/guide. You will be driven to your accommodation in Tulia Hotel: BB

Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, start your journey to Lake Manyara National Park. This 600 KM sq. with the Great Rift Valley Escarpment. Lake Manyara is famous for the tree-climbing lions found lazing on branches of acacia trees. The park also features large concentrations of elephant and buffalo. Over 380 species of birds have been recorded included the immense Silvery Cheeked Hornbill, one of the largest breed, Crested Guinea Fowl, found deep in the forest. Many hippos reside in the water, as do thousands of flamingo and other water birds. Enjoy the game drives, picnic lunch overlooking the lake, leave park, drive to your accommodation in Karatu, Marera Valley Lodge: Breakfast Lunch Dinner

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, continuing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, drive to Serengeti National Park,. There will be a stop along the way at Olduvai Gorge, which has been christened the "Cradle of Mankind," and also offers stunning scenery. However, your destination is the Serengeti National Park. With two nights of accommodation here, you will have plenty of time to explore the endless plains of the Serengeti. The Serengeti is renowned as the Greatest Show on Earth, and your time here will be spent exploring this magnificent park. It seems endless and you will be impressed by the constantly changing landscape. From plains to hills to the giant outcrop of granite, called Kopjes, this park is considered to many as the most bountiful game reserve in the world. Picnic lunch. Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, breakfast in the bush, picnic lunch, more game drives. Return to Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp for dinner and overnight: B L D

Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, game drive on your way back through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Dinner and overnight in Karatu, Marera Valley Lodge: B L D

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, descend into the Crater for a day game drive. The largest Caldera in the world (imploded volcano with an intact rim) The rim at 7,200' overlooks the Crater floor below that supports more than 20,000 mammals year-round – from Black Rhino to herds of Buffalo and many Big Cats. Also you can see varieties of birds-kori bustard, secretary bird and African White-backed vultures. In the afternoon ascend, drive to Arusha Airport/ Kilimanjaro International Airport

COVID-19 SOP

SOP for Tourism Tanzania

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the entire world, including Tanzania. In order to ensure the safety of tourists and locals, the Tanzanian government has implemented a set of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for COVID-19 response.

 

All tourists visiting Tanzania are required to present a negative COVID-19 test result, taken within 72 hours prior to arrival. Visitors who do not present a negative test result will be required to take a test upon arrival and quarantine until the results are available.

 

Tanzania has also implemented strict health protocols at all points of entry, including airports and ports. These protocols include temperature screenings, mandatory wearing of face masks, and physical distancing measures.

 

Tourists are also encouraged to practice good hygiene, including frequent hand washing and avoiding close contact with individuals who are displaying symptoms of COVID-19.

 

Tourists are advised to download the COVID-19 App, which will help monitor their health status and provide real-time updates on COVID-19 in Tanzania.

 

Hotels, resorts, and other tourist accommodations must follow strict SOPs for cleanliness and sanitation. All tourist sites and attractions, including national parks and wildlife reserves, must also follow SOPs to ensure the safety of visitors.

In the event of a COVID-19 outbreak, the Tanzanian government has established a comprehensive response plan that includes contact tracing, testing, and isolation of affected individuals.

Tanzania remains committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all tourists while also protecting public health. Visitors are encouraged to follow all COVID-19 SOPs and to take personal responsibility for their health and safety.
